Lane Cove has five superbly well maintained synthetic courts overlooking the superb Lane Cove golf course, individual cabanas are at the rear of the courts.
There is also a coffee shop serving hot and cold food and drinks with an outdoor BBQ plus indoor and outdoor seating areas to relax and watch the tennis.
The Pro Shop stocks the latest Head rackets, balls and equipment for sale and hire. There is a racket restring machine to upgrade your racket’s performance.
There is a free minibus service available for schools and local offices.
Coaching
The coaching staff at Lane Cove are true professionals and offer an exhaustive program for coaching at every level and for any age.
For kids there is; Kids Hot Shot tennis, squads, private tuition, birthday party’s, Hot Shots competitions and school parties.
The adult coaching is also extensive and available is; group lessons, private lessons, cardio tennis and social tennis.
New members can take advantage of a free assessment session by the coaches to evaluate their level and to arrange a bespoke coaching program.
Competitions
Lane Cove offer weekly competitions held on a Monday and Tuesday for Singles, Doubles and Mixed respectively. All sessions are from 8pm till 10pm and there is an entrance fee to compete.
Ladies competitions are held at Tennis World sister facilities at River Road and Chatswood, these include Doubles and Singles.
Holiday Camps
Lane Cove runs frequent holiday programs during all school breaks and holidays, including private schools. Free safe leaving your kids for a day, week or weeks and rest assured they will play lots of tennis, sport but most importantly have loads of fun.
The kids camp is aimed at age groups 4 – 14 year old.
The Hot Shot camps are divided into age groups;
- Red Camp – 4 to 7 years old
Using a modified Red court and Red ball allowing children of all skill levels to play the game. In addition the kids are also kept busy with a variety of gross motor and multi skills sports.
- Orange Camp – 8 to 10 years old
Also using a larger modified court and a slightly faster Orange ball, it teaches new strokes, skills and strategies using techniques that allow easier understanding and rapid progress.
- Green Camp – 11+
This more advanced camp uses a full sized court and standard balls, with the emphasis on skills, strokes and match play.
